What are ShepCo’s qualifications?

-
How does the planning process work?
Every project starts with a consultation. We walk the property with you, understand your goals, and assess the best use for the land. From there, we will collaborate with you to develop a plan that executes on your vision, works within your budget, and increases the value and quality of the land.
-
Do you do work outside of Texas?
Yes. While we are based in Texas, we are equipped to serve landowners in the surrounding states and have worked as far west as Colorado. If your property is outside of Texas, do not hesitate to reach out. We are happy to discuss your project.
-
How long does a project take?
Every property and project is different, and timelines depend on scope, weather, and scale. Once we understand your goals, we can guarantee you will have a clear picture of the expected project timeline, with regular updates throughout.
-
What size properties do you work on?
We work on properties of all sizes: smaller recreational tracts, large-scale ranch developments spanning thousands of acres, and anything in between.
-
Do I need a plan before I call ShepCo?
Not at all. Many of our clients come to us with nothing more than a piece of land. Our initial consultation will help you understand the potential for the property, and how to execute that potential. We will help guide you through the possibilities, set priorities, and build a plan that matches both your vision and your budget.
-
Can you work on land that has already been partially developed?
Absolutely. We frequently perform projects where previous work was done. We will assess what is there, identify what can be built on or improved, and give you an honest evaluation of what may need to be corrected before moving forward.
